Default Unusually produced RAF capbadge

Guys
is this sandblast or some other means of production.
Quite heavy and nice piece.

No comment as the images are incredibly small....more like a thumbnail than actually viewable. If you upload large (jpg) images greater than 90odd K, the importing process reduces them to a reasonably viewable size. Can't really make out any details on yours. I know I am older and wear glasses, but..

You have the term wrong, it is 'sand CAST' (IE made in a sand mould), which is common for locally made badges in Africa and India and the like. Yes, it looks sand cast to me.

Thanks for the IDing.
As for the size of the pics, i have to cut down a lot of the size as i use my works laptop for storing the images, and they take up a lot of space.
That said, i didnt realise how small they appeared.Will endeavour to make larger in the future.
