Default Toronto Military Show Finds

Thought I'd share a few badges I found at yesterday's show in Toronto. I believe the 98th (Welland) and the pickled brass version of the 147th (Grey) are hard to find?

Cheers, Ian.

Default 147th

Ian it looks like you hit the jackpot with your 147th. That if it is hat badge size is the rare small version officer striking comes with matching collars. Have not seen one of those suface for many years. Well done hope you got it cheap. The 98 is scarcer but not in the rare catagory.

Hi Paul,

Yep - the Grey is 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" and got it for $60

Cheers, Ian.

YOU did very well on that one it is a sleeper and underrated. The last one I saw was 5 or six years ago and I bought it for a friends collection. I would suggest it is worth a few hundred more than what you paid so

I was reading this older post...

How much would a wide version of the 147th be worth.

(I don't own the Charlton guides....... born after they came out)

I have one that would be available for me...

Not from a dealer but I don't want to overpay.

You can PM me.
