- 6 e Bataillon de réserve générale du materiel: a ordnance unit from the 50-60's (sorry "ordnance" is american but I cannot recall the British term at present time...).
- Centre de sélection N° 6: a unit evaluating the draftees' abilities before National Compulsory Service. Insignia was in use after WW II until the professionalisation of the Army. - 38 e Compagnie de camp: a Company stationed at the Caylus Camp (in the South of France). It was in charge of the maintenance of the Camp and was playing the "aggressor" for troops on manoeuvre in the Camp. In use in the 50'-60's |

The Caylus Camp was still used in the early 2000s as a shooting and training camp for both French Army and French Air Force soldiers. I remember it also included a specific area dedicated to Guerilla combat and CQB. By the way this camp is a former medieval fort which was also used in the 1940s by the Vichy Regime and the SS "Das Reich" Division.
