Default 17th Bn The king's Regiment

Hi,
received this by email this morning from an ex co-worker. Its a photo of the 17th Bn King's Regiment (1st Liverpool Pals) marching down Station Road from Watch Factory to Prescot Station in May 1915 as they set off for France.
Factory to right of photo is British Insulated and Helsby Cables Ltd.
Hope this may be of interest to some members.
Pity can't make out any insignia!
Tony

That site has an old history. It was first built on in the 1590s, I have it's history somewhere.
