I don't know much about them except they are brass I really can't tell you much more.

Hi, maybe someone else knows about these "A" s, certainly in GB a lot of RGA and RFA "A" s appear on patches whereas in post cards of the time Gallipoli veterans were a rare item. Post war there seems to be more of the bullion "A"s. Can anyone confirm that or show them in use during WW1? Did you like the armour. As you can see I still need quite a few. Mike
