Default New to my collection , stunning V Force group

Original V Force , cap badge , artillery collar badge and Burma Silk map all belonging to Captain David Bridges MC, Royal Artillery & V Force.
Acquired directly from his son.
Thought I would share my joy at getting these !!
Cheers
Steve

Superb items with wonderful provenance. The silk map appears to be of the type issued to air crew, which is not to say that it wasn't also issued to V Force.

I particularly like the portrait, the parachute badge and the way he wore it, perhaps embroidered upon dark blue or black, it would certainly be a nice badge to own.
A pleasing group.
