Default THE HENK BREDEWOLT WWII COLLECTION.....

Have a look at items collected by this individual from 12MD veterans plus a lot of other British uniforms and stuff.......
Look at the second series of photographs with the 12MD titles on BD and armoured corps suit..from veteran Norman Keith..

Interesting web page. My understanding was that the tank suits were temporary issue and were not to have insignia sewn on them. They were supposed to be withdrawn at the end of winter and returned to stores.

Hi Mike, That flash is actually a post war issue. The 12 Man Dragoons continued as the 18th Armd Car Regt and by direction from NDHQ, regimental titles were required to show the RCAC designation. Thus the three line title. AND MUCH MUCH more when Fabric of War is published.

Nice selection of titles. Is the bottom left chewed up one a flocked pattern?

So something to kick around here with the 18th Armoured Car Regiment some of the regiment wearing sports jersey's featuring the rejected cap badge design.... and in the depths of the museum one sports jersey donated by a veteran of the regiment.
