Milner book has a photo of this cap badge in his book, ! Anyone who is interested in the Leeds Pals would of seen this type of cap badge in his book! Why would a researcher put this cap badge printed in a book about the Leeds Pals? OC14 claim he was involved in the research, they should know that cap badge was fake! Milner and oc14 are experts. Hey they wrote a book about the Leeds Pals. They done the research.

I don’t know the names of any manufacturers that made the cap badge, could of been one manufacturer for all we know ?? Unless you’ve proof of manufacturing details names, amounts etc ?but what I do know is they all looked the same, as all the originals do no big differences and all without the fake tell tail signs. I guess if your happy to keep yours incase the day comes we are all proven wrong that’s good for you and fine by me , but for me personally and my collection I’m happy with my known original other ranks pattern cap badge.

If you have seen another Leeds pals cap badge type that you think is original please post a good photograph of it, the image should display wether it’s a new fake or restike or cast quite easily.

Kind regards Chay
