Default Middlesex Regt Wolseley helmet

Not something I know to much about, could any more knowledgeable member let me know if the eBay listing below is a genuine item,( sorry can’t add the link from my phone for some reason?) I’ve done some research and looks not to bad but not confident to know for sure, the Middlesex Regt did have the lemon/ yellow facing on the pagri at one point, any information would be appreciated as I’d like it in my collection if found to be ok.

Question Middlesex helmet

Is this not a Royal Marine Bandsman's Tropical helmet?

Wouldn't an RM helmet have a globe rather than a spike?

I believe that is indeed a correct helmet to the Middlesex. It is an officer's helmet and should have a silver officer badge usually with a yellow backing to the front, the badge currently on it being and enlisted one and incorrect.

Yes. Just needs an officer badge and chin scales to be all correct.
