Default URGENTLY NEEDED: Old Style RAAF Puggaree

G'day,
I know this is slightly off-topic but I've been searching for years now for a particular RAAF puggaree (hat band) that went with the RAAF Hat, Fur Felt (not a slouch hat). Please see attached pic.
I'm after a SIZE 61cm RAAF Puggaree like the one in the picture. Basically, it's a khaki puggaree with the regular 6 folds of cloth in the hat band but the second fold down from the top is in dark blue.

This design was created by General Sir Thomas Blamey when he was tasked with the job of creating the RAAF in 1920.

I know it's a long shot but if anyone out there can help me there will be $100 Australian dollars in it for them. We are making a motion picture and I desperately need one of these puggarees in this particular size. They are a devil to make from scratch and even our wardrobe people say they can't manage it and make it look genuine.

I'd appreciate it if you lot asked around collectors you know to see if you can help us.

Cheers,
Bill Halliwell

MPS2SD,

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but do you still have a RAAF Puggaree?

Cheers,
Darren.
