Well the NCB is cast and therefore not likely to be period especially they had the 3 battalions never left UK: which rules out a bazaar badge.

Christ's Hospital School.

The buttons on the long blue coat depict the head of the School’s founder, King Edward VI and were introduced a little over 200 years ago.

just a quick question on the NCB.
is it a dud because it has a flat back? it doesn't appear bazaar cast. more die struck with a flat back?
also i found this one. lugged not slider and probably a crisper strike.

It's a dud because the original OR's cap badges were die struck and that one is a cast copy in my opinion.
