A bit off topic & if there is a better place to ask this please let me know.
I want to knit the patterns in the Red Cross Prisoner of War magazines & wondered if anyone had any of these in their collections and could photo just the knitting pattern part please ? My uncle was a POW and it seems an interesting piece of WW2 history often forgotten I currently have patterns from 1942 June & Nov 1943 April 1944 September 1945 Jan Thanks in hope Mel |

Not POW magazine but Victoria and Albert Museum has a selection of 1940's knitting patterns that can be downloaded.

Possibly some of the patterns from a pattern book "Knitting for the RAF" may have been reused. I have a PDF but cannot attach die to size. Message me if you want me to email it to you.
