Default Help identify regimental insignia

Hi there,

An old friend, when talking about our respective father’s war service, gave me the attached belt buckle saying it was a Hampshire Regt insignia, the regiment in which my late father served. I know a tiger features in their wartime cap badge and older patterns of collar badges too but I can’t find anything like this exact type.
Can anyone confirm this does have a Hampshire Regiment insignia or, if not, what it might be please.

Many thanks in anticipation,

Kevin

Looks like the Royal Leicestershire's version of the tiger and wreath, the tiger is facing the "wrong" way so perhaps a collar badge affixed to the belt plate.

Thank you gentlemen for the suggestions. I didn't think it was Hampshire related. The size of the insignia does look like a collar badge.

Regards,

Kevin.

That is a Leicestershire Regt. collar badge affixed to the belt buckle.
