Default RECCE TROOP 59 COMMANDO SQUADRON RE

I came across this item, Commando dagger superimposed on a 21/23 SAS wing(?) with the following history with it:-
59 CDO SQN RE Recce Tp is para trained in order to operate with 3 Cdo Brigade Patrol Tp.
The Tp has an unofficial badge of the fighting dagger on wings.
Usually confined to sportswear.
Hodges p 74
Can anyone show me this page from Hodges please ?
Also any Ex commando or ex RE para out there who may have seen or had this badge?
I also have the second type shown.
So is it Cdo/Para or Para/Cdo??
I await your reply's.
Thanks
Jerry

A individual member of the Squadron may have qualified and served with the SAS and returned to parent unit after so could be entitled to wear the wings.
Also they may have been 21 or 23 SAS in TA days and became a regular later in life.
The first question still remains, can anyone show me the page 74 in Hodges book please?

The dagger and wings are a semi-official symbol across the commando forces, both RM and army.

The badge is not official in that it is not worn on uniform of any kind. Those that are qualified may wear the appropriate wings (basic, APJI, SF communicator etc) and army/Royal Navy elements wear the dagger in the appropriate orders of dress.

That is one ugly badge. Did the person who designed it have no imagination?
