Hi Tony,

My example has been brooched. Yours looks to be adapted from lugs to a slider. I saw more modified ones than anything else whilst I was searching for an example to buy.

Hello Phil, having read previous threads ref to this badge, seems they were converted to a slider from lugs.
Tony.

That is certainly true, RTC officers bought berets, but, the rank and file had to wait a little longer for them to be issued and retained their SD cap as a result.

Agreed, it is a pleasing example, toned as well, rather than simply being another one out of the box.

Thanks Frank,
I thought as you it was a nice example.
The photos don't do it justice I'm afraid.
Cheers Tony.

It's certainly a nice badge, there were some produced in GM from these particular dies, but, they are a little harder to find and have a lengthy slider.
