Just a shot in the dark, but could it be a railway joint station title?
Possibilities are Carnforth Joint Station, Chard Joint Station, Churchdown Joint Station, & Cockermouth Joint Station.

David.

Default Title

David,
Not being a railway buff I have not heard of Joint Stations, but it's a good thought.

Many thanks Rob

Wikipedia.

Carnforth Joint Station.

"Station personnel wore a uniform with the initials CJS for Carnforth: Joint Station".

Joint stations were where two different railway companies lines met.
