Lost at the Ottawa Show
On Saturday I purchased a 1 Canadian Parachute printed title and a Pegasus patch at the Ottawa Military Heritage Show. I believe that they fell out my pocket at some point during the day. The title is near mint condition and the Pegasus patch had folded edges. If some found the same please contact me. Thanks.

Bill, you haven`t learned yet?? You are only supposed to drop and lose `el cheapo`stuff. Not prime patches like this.
Sorry to hear about this. I do hope you get them back.

loss
I don't know how many times at the end of a show I can't find an item I bought. Thankfully most are found in the darkest corner of some pocket Certainly puts one off. I now carry a small bag. Awful loss Bill

Man, I went through my trays and containers three or four times. No joy. I thought I may have simply misplaced it, but not this time.

Bill this may sound crazy but look in yr wallet, I keep small cloth badges I get at shows in my wallet. I carry a shoulder bag also but if I put them in there & then I pull something out, I am afraid one or two might come out & fall & might not notice it/them.

Hey Bryan, already did that. I have once and awhile put a badge in there, but not this time.

That's a bitch Bill, hopefully they will get back to you somehow, be sure to email Peter & let him know in case someone may have found & turned in at the entrance desk.
How was the show? I was unable to attend the changed Nov date due to previous engagement, first time in many many yrs I have missed both Spring & Fall shows! Bryan |

Bad luck. Could it have slipped somewhere in the car?
I found a jacket patch on the floor in front of Clive's table. They took it up front to the main table and then Clive and Richard remembered who it might belong to. Safely returned to its owner. Phil

Checked the car too. Several times....
Just a bit pissed at myself for this. I am usually very careful about purchases, but things were so busy on Sat am that I didn't follow my usual routine. (I usually have a place to put all the acquisitions for later examination.)

Sorry about the bad luck Bill. It had to be 1CPB too. I hope you find that you misplaced them. Hopefully one way or another they turn up.

I saw you find that patch but never having met you in person I didn't say hello. I was sitting behind Clive's table editing pages for the CEF badge book. We will have to introduce ourselves at the next show! Bill, really sorry to hear about your lost patches. Cheers, Ian. |

I probably saw a few fellows from here but don't know you. I was wearing the blaze orange hunting cap. Cheers Brian

Brian, I was there all day and missed you. I missed a few people in fact. I saw John Swan at the Peterborough show, he told me he was not going to attend the Ottawa show. I know Lorne misses it as well due to other commitments.
Bill I do hope you have a good result in locating these patches, but it does not look good. I don`t recall ever loosing anything at a show. I have misplaced many things once I get them home. My sons car is famous for eating things. They always end up between the seat and the console. Lighters, money, packagess of cigarettes, the works.
