Unhappy Sad unloved hackle

Here at the Tigerlily Home for Waifs and Strays appearance is no barrier to being provided with a secure place in the "eclection".

Even if your the nastiest, most disgusting looking RNF/RRF hackle to ever grace Gods green earth. Seriously it looks like a budgie thats had a run in with a steam roller on a wet day. The photo's make it look better than it is

It is a nice combaty hackle

Unloved no longer, I'd wager?

Any chance of a look at the back please... slider? Loops? Tangs? Maker mark?

That is a back and front view, it is, to coin a phrase, a bag of hammers.
Not sure I'd go as far as loved. It's seen action of some sort, even if it was just hanging around the Tower of London in the rain, so for that it has my respect, maybe I'll grow to love it

You know what I was just thinking was it worth giving it a go. Couldn't make it worse. *cue me crying, surrounded by a bunch of feathers holding a bit of wire*

The hackle dear, the hackle. Matron has tucked it back up in bed, after administering Febreeze, we're not expecting a full recovery but we're hopeful it will turn a corner soon. Pray for hackle.

If you've used Febreeze then it's a goner for sure! That stuff can knock people out never mind hackles!

Nah its alright it's the pet friendly one it basically smells of nothing.

I have dog grooming spray that smells of baby talcum powder, its amazing for about half an hour, after that you just want to block your nostrils up its so sickly. I did contemplate using that then I thought some poor Fus used to wear the hackle he wouldn't want to go round smelling like a baby so decided against it.
