Yes, they are embroidered shoulder titles.

Hi Griff
Third pic in The Officer was 21st went to Royal Flying Corps. It looks like he has bullion collar badges ?. That shot of the lance cap boss is a nasty repo.

I did wonder ....... removed Here is another postcard "SENTRY 21st LANCERS 129" ...... note his crimped plume. I counted 10 that are visible.

21st was another Regiment that crimped its plumpes as and when I do have a crimping stick somewhere.
