Default Military Badge

Please see photos of a badge I'm trying to ID. It's a Kings Crown so 1901 to 1953, but having looked in Kipling and King Vol 1 the closest I can find is the top half of a QVC Royal Artillery badge. It is unusual in having long fronds (?) next to the helmet.
Any ideas?
I'll try to attach photos from orig text message next, showing badge.

Photos of front and back of badge to be ID'd and a picture of the only other book it's been found in.

I have a WM and enamel one of these, very well made, but I also doubt whether it is military. Pehaps someone knows just why they were made.

Looks like a "By Royal Appointment" item. Probably fell off a wheelbarrow.

Its the Royal Arms allowed to be added to any product by a manufacturer or retailer who had a Royal Appointment. They can be transfer printed, cloth, on china etc etc and even as stated a wheelbarrow, or a tin of biscuits.

Nothing to do with the military and was originally attached to a product of some sort like a tin of posh biscuits.

regards

That would certainly be quite some tin, perhaps an indication of the quality of it's contents!
