Looks ok to me.
Probaly a Cornwall Rifle Volunteers. Possibly the bugle is missing.
Try this :- https://www.olympiaauctions.com/sale.../view-lot/288/

It’s a generic Rifle Vols PBP. Attached are my Gloucestershire and 11th Middx examples. Looking at the slot holes in the back plate of yours which are N/S this doesn’t suit a bugle so it’s possibly the 11th Middx missing St.George. It’s looks to be brass too which when blackened would make it an ideal candidate. I think the Sussex (Battle) RV also wore one too.

Gut feeling looking at
1. The detail
2. The fixings
3. Patination
4. Back plate
Looks OK

Default Battle Rifle Volunteers

Hi BC,

It looks fine to me.

Keith is correct, here is one of my Battle SBP/PBP badges.

Kind Regards,

Thanks NRM.

The construction is slightly different to BC's, in that mine has 4 screw posts to the reverse.

KR,

Pete
