1 & 2. Unmarked silver plate.
3 & 4. 2nd pattern marked Sterling to rear.
5. Cord boss. I presume this was Great War period 1st Batt’n.

Hi Kevin,

Very nice yes boss I think WW1, have got a photo of the 2VBSWB wearing a boss badge at camp Porthcawl c1905 can’t confirm the dragon add photo’s.
First photo cWW1 second photo early type c1905.

The dragon on the boss is nearer your WW1 example. If it’s of any relevance my boss is quite large.
Do you know what the silver dragon was worn on and when?

Hi Kevin,

Only reference I have is the odd photo showing the badge worn early 50s as a beret badge worn by the second battalion .(on the card my badge came with a note from gaunt pattern sept 1952, but I have not seen the pattern card for this badge).

What are the small dragons please? I have them as 1st VB the welsh or 1st brecknocks?

Not many fakes in this thread, I can't help thinking that it is the wrong section of the forum and it is certainly most interesting.
