Default Unknown collar or buttonhole badge

Saw this for sale - stamped by JR Gaunt London.
Any ideas as to what it is ? The rider looks distinctly oriental.

Question Buttonhole badge

I think this was possibly worn by brewery workers, Wadsworths used this on their beer.

As do Mann's.

St George's helmet and armour as depicted on this badge are similar to that portrayed on St George in the crest of the post 1968 Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, not that I'm suggesting this is a RRF lapel badge.
