Default 119th Battalion CEF Algoma Patterson marked

I have a set of collars and cap badge to the 119th Battalion CEF from Algoma, Northern Ontario. All three are maker marked Patterson Soo. These are the only badges I have ever seen with this maker mark. I cannot get any info on the maker. If any body has any other info on this maker greatly appreciated. I am unsure also how common these are. Most of the examples I have seen are unmarked and I have one of those as well.

Thanks

From the Algoma Battalion badges that I have, the cap and 3 collars are unmarked. The reddish/coppery collar is marked "Patterson Bros. SOO". The numeral 119 is marked Birks 1913 or 1918 or something like that.
