Default Canada Prison badge?

Hi
I was given this badge and collars, I am told that they are Prison Service badges can any one confirm that is what they are.

Province of Ontario Correctional Services. These are older badges, but the cap is quite common. The service may have had different designations in the past.

I can't say with certainty when they started on issue, but they were worn in the 1950's and 1960's. And I am not certain of an end date. Note, the detail on your badges is excellent. The examples I see of the cap are usually almost polished out.
