Default MSO COLLECTION

I brought this nice collection of MSO badges etc at the New Forest meet 02/06 and I am sure that the sliders, lugs etc have been removed before mounting in the frame. The thickness of the frame etc makes me feel fixings have been removed. I am in two minds if I should unmount these to check or just leave it as it is. What is the opinion of members?

Is it possible to just uncover the back?

I'm still (hopefully) looking for the REME cap badge version. I only ever saw one 'in the flesh.' Imphal Barracks, Osnabruck in 1970/1 when the transporters came to collect 1RTR tanks.

I would have a look, the badges are on a slight tilt, hopefully because they're on sliders still and have movement, maybe try tapping the frame, see if they move.
Not my area of collecting, but certainly find units like this interesting.

I have taken the back off and it seems that ALL the fixings i.e. sliders, lugs etc have been removed and all items have been glued down so that it gives a flat appearance.
I think I will leave this as it is but change one of the 1st corps printed signs for a felt version.

I have now changed the layout of these MSO badges etc and now show 3 versions of the 1BR Corps FS.
As said all badges had the fixings removed when mounted first time round.
