Default Problem with Attaching Photos

Hello All,

When I attach photos to my posts, they appear as a "landscape" orientation, rather than a "portrait" orientation. In other words, the photos are rotated by 90 degrees to the left. I've noticed the same problem with other members postings. Does someone have a solution to this problem?? Cheers,

Walt

Are you taking pictures with a telephone? that may be the problem.

I have this problem when I take photos with my iphone. Apple has a funny way of handling images and image thumbnails so this results in them being side ways (even if it looks normal on your phone or desktop) when you upload to the forum.

I just copy and paste a screenshot of the image into a program such as MS Paint and then save it and upload the new file and that fixes it.
