Default Perthshire Corps.

14th Birnam Coy Perthshire RV 1868-78.
Grey doublets with Austrian knots royal stewart kilts, badge similar to PRV but thistle replaced with Birnam oak tree.

Superb photograph, I know it can't be seen in the image but do you know what pattern button was worn by this Unit please.

Simon,
Sorry just don’t know, some Corps wore a generic pattern others had their own design. The 14th were particular about keeping their own uniforms even after incorporated into Admin Battalion.
