Nothing to do with EOD in itself- It is the metal trade badge for 'Ammunition Examiner RAOC' later 'Ammunition Technetium RAOC' found in both Gliding Metal & Anodised and one of a series of Trade Badges as Grey Green Acorn points out and later worn on Brown Lab Coats in Ammunition Process Building within Base Depots - Now more or less unused....
EOD is indeed part of the trade responsibilities for the AT Trade, but not this generic badge. |

Earlier WWII (1942) to c1950 Ammunition Examiner Trade Badge before being phased out for larger 'Flaming A' badge itself replaced with the smaller example in 1960 when re-titled Ammunition Technetium. Last edited by Mike_2817; 25-04-19 at 05:37 PM. |
