Default No 1 Coy C Pro C

A very interesting image of members of No 1 Coy Canadian Provost Corps WW2. No 1 Company was made up of RCMP volunteers. In this image, motorcycle maintenance is being carried out. There are two pieces of rare insignia in the picture, the RCMP armband, and on the tunic hanging on the handlebar, and the tunic shoulder of the man standing in the right foreground, there are the exceedingly rare abbreviated RCMP tablet pattern title. Others in the image also have this title on their tunics.

A great photograph Bill, and one of only a few that give a good view of the RCMP insignia worn by original members of No.1 Provost Company. I posted images of one of the title patterns in the Corps section of the site.
