Default Hello from a newbie

Hello John from Nottingham. Collected for a while. Likes restrikes. Likes collections in regiments and framing them. Just started my Royal Dragoon Guards collection.

Sir I request some tolerance please. As an NHS nurse I cannot afford £90 for a cap badge. I also collect modern and staybrights. Thank you.

Re-Strikes ( fakes ), it just doesn't sit right with me. Paying people to make them, in years to come they'll be original.

I would advise Spend your hard earned wages on your modern and stay-bright badges and avoid the repro Dross items that haunt our world, welcome to the forum and enjoy the learning process.

Next time you look at a board or box of Repeducion items you may spot some good items by reading entries on the forum, incidentally you can pay more than £90 on modern or Anodised badges. The key is read and purchase good reference books.

Sincerely

Stephen
