Default Irish Guards Cap Stars.

Looking for information on these two. One looks to be fire gilt, aporox size 43mm x 43mm, sergeants? The other is bronze with voided centre, WO's officer's ? Its 43mm x 43mm, with blade fittings, and a J.R. GAUNT/LONDON tab.

Two very nice items Danny.

The first one "Badge, Field & Forage Cap, Gilt, Sergeants and Band" Gilt SPN 5031 sealed 24/09/1901.

The second is the first pattern OSD star as described in DRs from 1904 and replaced by a smaller bronzed and then, more universally the S/G/E service cap star, by the start of The Great War.
