Lanyards coloured on a corps or regimental basis did not come into use until 1930 or after and were unofficial up until 1952. So the lanyard during the Great War isn't an indicator of unit. He is wearing dismounted dress however which would probably confirm the conclusions already reached.

Hey Donny

Not to worry, when you are ready for the road trip drop me a pm and I will take you up to the ski club, thats snow ski club for a weekend or a few days and get you really cold. We have a nice fire to keep you warm and theres lots of Port and you dont have to drive home that night !!
