Exactly, however the RCSC (Royal Canadian Sea Cadet) rate qualification badges) will always have a maple leaf above the logo, I dont have one in my photo bank to show now, but when I phot them I will amend this & illustrate an example.



Andy --- some examples of RCSC rate badges below ---- not great photos as shot thru glass, but will give you an idea of what they look like.
The embroidery thread is quite shiny, more so than the white embroidered RY badges I have (I only have a couple tho).
