Default Possible Volunteer Button BV 1797

I would like some help to identify this button I think it relates to British Volunteer Corps established in 1797 but I can't find anything similar or correctly id what volunteer regiment this button belonged to.

The only Volunteer unit I can see that has B.V. is the Blackpool Volunteers see K.K. badge 1636 however, I do not know enough about its History to say if it went back to 1797 also the significance of the spry either side with Blackpool being on the coast.

In the autumn of 1798, the British government ordered a survey of the total number of infantry and cavalry volunteer corps in existence throughout the island.
The county volunteer corps starting with the letter B were, Beds, Berks, Bucks, Brecon, Banff, Berwick, & Bute. From, Britons Forging The Nation 1707 - 1837, by Linda Colley.

Given the manufacturer it is most probably an Irish uniform button but civil, military or livery or what, I know not.

has a Dublin backmark and could quite easily be one of many Irish volunteer forces set up at the same time as the English ones also.

I sometimes mention my facebook group which deals with this type of button. I've come across quite a few English and Scottish ones and not seen that one so it may have more of a chance of being Irish. https://www.facebook.com/groups/117082335639412
