Default Unknown shoulder patch, Allied, WW2, Far East

Hi,

I was hoping somebody might recognise the insignia in the attached image, which is a clipped version of a photo posted on the WW2Talk forum. The full photo shows some men of the 9th Royal Sussex flanking a WO2 (the owner of the patches). It was taken in the Far East, likely Burma, perhaps at/towards the end of WW2.

Cheers, Pat.

110th (Poona) Lines of Communications Area (Two Mahratta swords crossed below a circular shield - a black design on a red square). I'll find an image soon. Mike

That's just what I was after, and in double-quick time - many thanks, Mike!

Cheers, Pat.
