Default 9th and 16th Lancers

These do not look like typical fakes, but the 16th has an unvoided crown and the 9th, whilst having the expected four lugs (the feet are OK, not the usual spade phonies), I am just not sure.

I may be sticking my neck out but both look good to me. I have the 16th with both voided and solid crowns.
Cheers, John

The lugs on the 9th Lancers are modern - either replacements or fake.

I agree, the metal doesn't look right either. Also the 16th sweat holes looked drilled, normally there are slotted ones on each pennon and one behind each numeral too. That's a big one piece overlay and just two small ones at the bottom aren't enough in my opinion.

Certainly not expensive, but, I don't think, just from the photographs, which are not the best, that I will really be happy with either.
