In another tread I did give my opinion that everyone should have one of these beautiful badges, I have five, but, condition is an issue, with the exception of those that were turned into sweetheart brooches at the time, in particular, unique engraved examples, I do think that any examples that have been messed with are not worth as much, so for me it would simply all come down to the price being sought.
They are certainly nice badges and a tangible link back to 1914.
