Default RAF LAC metal badge

Hi all,

Just found this one and wanted to confirm what it is. Am I right that this is a RAF Leading Aircraftman WW2 period or post war period rank insignia. Maker "STOKES".

Simon is correct it is the LAC arm badge of the WWII Royal Australian Air Force. It can be found in several colours of metal.
