Burmese enamel badge.

I am not aware of any Burmese speakers on the forum, but if anyone could offer a translation of the letting on this badge I would be very grateful.

The outline of the borders of Burma are outlined in yellow enamel. The shield in the centre appears to show two keys and a dagger. The circle at top left is possibly a monument, the circle top right is possibly a gateway to the palace at Mandalay or somewhere similar. The lower circle appears to have either a sausage roll or a toilet roll but this might just be a coincidence, as neither of these items are featured in traditional heraldry.

So, my conclusion is that the key to identifying this badge is in the Burmese writing.

Burmese 'crests' had different mottos based on the name of the country at the time.

Thank you Mike, that is very helpful indeed. I was guessing that it was a post colonial badge due to the lack of an English scroll.
