Just in case you "Sneaky" Collectors have not seen these.......  I have seen that SBS badge for sale as genuine!

Doesn't it mention that its a (genuine) reproduction anywhere? Going to be a lot of disappointed people around when this is sold as "....it belonged to my grandfather, so it must be OK etc etc.....". Strangely, I have never met any of these "types" of collectors (in all my many years of working/living all over the place) especially whenever I have let it be known that I collect badges and would like to see what they have. Oddly, stamp collectors "surface" every now and then - in Germany and even here in Lux.... There must be a whole sub-culture of "ghostly" collectors that never interact in the "normal" world and who must be buying all this stuff. Well spotted. 2 days to go Griff......... Rgds, David

Hooo ... It is not a commemorative one , Lord Lovat told me it is a very rare original, made in China (small village in South Wales...) to be air dropped behind ennemy lines by homing pigeons ... Really a nice piece ... Best regards .. Herve
