Hi All, I think i already know the answer to this, but can anyone tell me if this is a good or a bad example of the Huntindonshire bicycle regiment?

Bad. 1970s Gaunt B’ham mark. These badges have been heavily reproduced.

This design was also used by the Home Guard during the Second World War and can be found with a couple types of authentic smaller Gaunt London mark commensurate to the period.

If you want a cyclist example my advice is seek the kind with a deeply struck scroll where there is limited reverse detail and the slider attachment point is behind the stags head as these seem to be earlier versions. That or the Lambourne type which is from a different die.

Cool Kimbolton School

I believe Kimbolton School also wore this badge, so maybe, just maybe this could be one of theirs, definitely not Home Guard or Hunts Cyclist.
