South African Signal Corps
Finally have my South African Signal Corps badges on the wall. There are a few missing, so if anyone has an Officer's gilt and silver collar badge, and a pair of bronze and white metal collars for sale....please let me know.
I'm now working on the beret button badges and the arm flashes, an ongoing project. Also working on Canadian Signals, New Zealand Signals, Australian Signals, Asian Signals and Royal Signals. Phil. |

With respect and speaking as a Rhodesian who served in both Rhodesia and South Africa, for what it is worth. You have an excellent collection of badges. However, the Rhodesian Signals badges are not South African. Rhodesia was a completely separate country. You may want to consider placing them separately, unless space and boards are a problem. It is much the same as including French signals badges with British ones and calling them all British and hoping nobody minds.
Kind regards Dudley |

Dudley, if you are who I think you are, for what it is worth, I think you are selling yourself short.
Thank you for your comments on my badges. Being way over here in Tasmania, I didn't think anyone would mind. It was not my intention to offend anybody. Not only will I consider placing the Rhodesian badge separately, I most definitely WILL place them separately. And by the way, I don't have any French Signals badges. Thanks again for your comments.
