I have seen such a pair - for over a year, now, though the lock-down has put pay to many of those - appearing (expensively) on a particular dealer's stall at several different big UK fairs. His stock is a mixture more of Third Reich/battle-field pickups but still has the odd interesting item. I have never seen such small numerals being used as unofficial attachments on A.I.F. badges - certainly not with the possessive, and unfretted, "rd". The dealer pushes the line that this unit served at Gallipoli, hence the price - which it did , but never wearing these!...the titles are ok and the workmanship looks quite well done but just what badge the "3rd" came from in order to make these up is a mystery to me...I don't think that the dealer himself made them up - but somebody did...
