Default Mahoba police badge

Almost stopped buying but this turned up during a recent visit to Mumbai.

Mahoba is a small town in the erstwhile United Provinces

Very interesting. Looks like it was worn as some kind of pendant or medallion? Or is that how they wore it?

My guess is it was pinned on to the tunic with some kind of metal fitting. It's a lovely badge about 2 and a half inches in diameter..was very dirty with the grime of ages upon it, but I cleaned it a little bit.
