Default Unofficial Badge 'Merry Christmas'

Hi All,

I wonder if ye can help me again. I've received this badge and I know precious little about it save that it's unofficial/unsealed (obviously!) ... well, put it this way - I've never heard of HMS Merry Christmas!!!

Does any one know anything about this badge, or (any of) the ship(s) that used it?

Thanks as always,

+ Anthony My email is here.

I've been (by Dave Palmer - an expert in Unofficial Badges) told that this was a design from the Drawing Room at Chatham Dockyard, and subsequently not used by 'a ship'.
