Default Queens Regt post 1924 - opinion

I believe this badge is good but it appears to have a long (extruded?) slider. Was this normal for the badge. I thought pagri badges had long sliders.

Also did 22nd & 24 Londons also wear this badge.

Thanks

Chris

I think that is a good badge. I have a post 24 Queen's with a longish slider as well. I would attribute it to just a maker's variation. Long sliders are often misinterpreted as Pagri badges, when in fact they are not.
PS, here is mine with a crimp however.

Long sliders are really unusual for this badge

Matti and CB,

that is what I thought. I have two of them, the second one's slider is not quite as long and has the crimp. I had to clean it up as it was covered with verdigris - see thumbnail.
