Genuine ones are thinner. I only have a cheap pair of non-digital calipers so can't help out with actual measurements I'm afraid.

MGC are original. A variety of sizes seem to have been produced.

Just found the motto collars listed in the Marsh catalogue and named in the album as 17th/21st Lancers which is how I didn’t see them on my ‘17th Lancers’ search before posting this thread.



I’d say a website change may be in order Griff!

Thanks Keith. I think the Essex is definitely a match for the repro.

From memory the T-RGA-Lancashire title was I thought quite thin. I’ll check it when I get home but I think it’s likely a repro and will on inspection have the hex lugs cast in like Simon mentioned.
