Younger and/or sharper eyes required please for a little assistance with some ongoing maker/maker-mark research; is the attached the letter ‘C’ or the letter ‘G’?

Hello Gerard,

Thanks for taking the time to look. I’ve tried to leave the images as unadulterated as I could, and also refrained from including the whole maker mark in order to reduce unintentional bias as much as possible.

1-0 so far to the Gs.
