Default Bullion raf other airman cap badge sealed pattern

This is one I’ve never seen before, unfortunately no date on the card though !

This is the bandsman cap badge, as worn on their ceremonial uniform. Although the uniform dated from about 1923, the stores number on the card suggests later 1920s.

Hello, yes I did wonder if it was band related, am pleased to find it and am guessing like many pieces it has been resealed I’ve seen 1918 raf sealed patters resealed in the late 1950s !!!

The bullion cap badge being worn in the late 1930s by two men of the Central Band.

A lot of 'sealed patterns' were checked and re-sealed later on. I've seen the WW2 plastic ATC badge with a very late date on it, something like 1970!
